How to add music to a TikTok video

You’ve uploaded your tracks to RouteNote, selected TikTok as one of the stores and want to check your music is live or use it in a music video. You can do this in a few easy steps.

To check your music is on TikTok, you don’t even need to create an account. Start by downloading the app on the App Store or Google Play.

Tap the plus icon at the bottom of the screen to create a new video.

Either record or upload a video.

Step 3

Once you’ve got your video, tap ‘Sounds’ in the bottom left corner.

From here you can browser popular music and playlists, or search using the bar at the top of the screen.

Preview your track and click the red tick to continue.

Tap ‘Trim’ in the right panel.

Use the slider to adjust where your music starts and tap the red tick to continue.

Once you’ve finished your edits, tap ‘Next’ in the bottom right, give it a description and hit ‘Post’.

That’s it! Now just kick back and wait for your video to go viral.
