Guadeloupe, Martinique and Aruba are among the 15 new places Spotify is launching in the Caribbean.
Music-making is thriving in the region, too. The number of people using Spotify for Artists across the Caribbean has doubled since February 2021, and Spotify’s growth will open up the promotional tools to more local artists releasing music.
At the beginning of this year Spotify expanded to the Caribbean as well as 85 more areas in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America. Spotify is now becoming available in more places in the Caribbean including: Anguilla, Cayman Islands, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, British Virgin Islands, Montserrat, Turks and Caicos Islands, Aruba, Bonaire, Saint Eustatius, Saba, and Saint Maarten.
In a blog post Spotify also announced a new playlist, Zouk Station, celebrating artists making Zouk music in the Caribbean, which you can check out below.
