Spotify for Artists have a handy guide showing how to create a Marquee to promote new releases on the platform.

Earlier this week Spotify announced the rollout of its campaign management tool, Marquee, to teams in the US in the form of beta testing.

The promotional tool helps to alert listeners to new tracks from their favourite artists and retain them as fans. Marquee targets fans most likely to listen to new releases and presents users with a pop-up card to promote the new track.

The Marquee beta is set to roll out to teams in the US over the next few months. A new Campaigns tool will appear as a tab in the Spotify for Artists dashboard.
