A new home for artists and creators’ programs offers fans a home for content.
Pandora are bringing together the playlists, stations, and Stories made by artists and influencers on their platform. New curator profiles give listeners and fans a place to discover all the content released by curators in one place.
All artists who have claimed their Pandora artist profiles through AMP are able to create playlists of music and Stories. Stories launched in 2019, offering those with access the ability to record voice tracks into their playlists to introduce songs and lead listeners along with them, like their own personal radio.
Now fans of those Stories will be able to find them all in one place and other programs from the same creator. This offers a fantastic opportunity for discovery as new listeners can immediately discover and explore more from a creator they find and enjoy.
Josh Raiford, Vice President of Sirius XM, says: “Approximately 50,000 songs get uploaded a day and the average music listener doesn’t have to go through it all to find good music. That’s where curators come in. Using our expertise and passion for music we go through all of the tracks and pick out the best ones for different listening experiences.”

Those with curator profiles on Pandora will be able to edit their images and bios. This allows them to introduce what they’re all about, and offer a little personal touch. To edit your curator profile simply head to Pandora AMP, go to your Profile tab to upload a photo, submit a bio, and share your curator profile link with fans.
If you’re an artist on Pandora (which you can distribute to for free through RouteNote) you can claim your profile on Pandora AMP. Once you have your profile you can create your programs from within your AMP profile and build your brand new curator profile.
For listeners, they will be able to access a curator’s profile on the Pandora mobile app from a program of theirs by scrolling to the bottom and tapping on ‘more by curator’. Listeners on the web platform can select a program then click the “by curator” link under the program title.
