Moog announced back in October the return of their sought-after Moogerfooger pedals, only reimagined “to make the sound and workflow of these beloved effects more affordable and accessible”.

Now, the eight infamous Moogerfooger Effects are available as individual plugins to load in your DAW and invite their classic analog sound into your digital music productions.

Moogerfooger Effects

Each of the Moogerfooger Effects plugins is designed to embody the original warm and vibrant sound of the analog effects pedals. But Mogg continues to say that the new digital effects also embody the “organic way in which the parameters interact” in order to facilitate a musical playing experience.

All seven of the analog Moogerfooger effects pedals have been reinvented as plugins, and a brand new saturation tool now joins the family. Now, all eight plugins are available as dynamic, professional pieces of music production software that are compatible with all major DAWs.

MF-101S Lowpass Filter

Firstly, the MF-101S Lowpass Filter is reminiscent of Bob Moog’s original design of the classic Moog ladder filter. Moog state that the MF-101S pairs the filter with an envelope follower that delivers dynamic motion.

MF-102S Ring Modulator

Ring Modulator offers a spaced-out, retro-futuristic sound. Made possible by a wide-range carrier oscillator that’s paired with an LFO, creating effects “from soft tremolo to far-out clangorous ring modulation tones”.

MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser

A descendant of the vibrant 1970s rack-mounted Moog phaser with an onboard LFO, the MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser gives you access to the pedal’s distinct psychedelic enveloping sound.

MF-104S Analog Delay

The MF-104S Analog Delay offers a rich delay that “captures the warm, organic texture and character of Moog’s sought-after analog delay circuitry” with the addition of modern flexibility.

MF-105S MuRF (Multiple Resonant Filter Array)

The Multiple Resonant Filter Array gives you a resonant filter bank coupled with a pattern generator and skewing envelope for vibrant animation of an incoming sound.

 MF-107S FreqBox

The MF-107S FreqBox is “Unconventional, eccentric, freaky”, offering gnarly synced VCO sounds plus envelope and FM modulation.

 MF-108S Cluster Flux

The MF-108S Cluster Flux gives you flexible processing options where you can modulate between chorus, flanging, and vibrato to create subtle swirling or intense flanging.

 MF-109S Saturator

Finally, the new software-only MF-109S Saturator is based on the classic Moogerfooger input drive stage that adds warmth, distortion, and compression to any sound.
