Artists seems confused as the 24 hour data option is removed from their Spotify for Artists music analytics hub.

Spotify have removed the filter that allows users to see overall data from the last 24 hours in Spotify for Artists. The Spotify for Artists hub offers insights into artist performance across all of their tracks as well as precise analytics for individual tracks.

Whilst Spotify haven’t publicly announced the removal, the filter seems to have been removed for users across the board. Threads on Reddit see a unanimous response of those who can no longer find the feature. Artists seem confused, with one user describing it as “really frustrating”. Another user wrote: “This new update is horrendous.”

Whilst Spotify have made no public announcement, their support team have confirmed the change in response to user emails. In response to one user, Spotify wrote: “The last 24 hours filter has been deprecated as part of our updates to our analytics infrastructure. While this filter has been removed, you can still see the data from the past day by clicking into any one of your songs and checking the streams graph.”

Spotify have been making a few adjustments to Spotify for Artists recently, including changes to the timeframe filters on statistics. It’s not all bad news, as they recently updated the Spotify for Artists mobile app to bring the features more in-line with the comprehensive desktop experience.
