Spotify reports their fourth quarter 2022 financial performance, showing the latest number of monthly active users and subscribers.

Spotify’s Q4 2022 highlights shows the latest numbers, as well as a rundown of the latest content and features that came to the music streaming service for users, music artists and podcast creators.

As of the end of 2022, monthly active users on Spotify are at 489 million, up 20% year-over-year. For the first, Spotify cracks 200 million paying subscribers, hitting 205m, a 14% year-over-year growth. Find Spotify’s Q3 2022 results here or their Q4 2021 results here.

Below are highlights of the quarter from Spotify. They include audiobooks expanding to the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, two records broken by Taylor Swift with the release of her latest album Midnights, the 8th anniversary of Spotify Wrapped for users, artists (boosting merch sales) and podcasters, and more.
