Spotify launch their first-ever artist hub, with Billie Eilish’s ‘Happier Than Ever: The Destination’

Billie Eilish’s new album launch includes a dedicated artist hub on Spotify with music and exclusive playlists from the artist herself.

Billie Eilish has grown exponentially over the past six years, currently sitting as the 12th-most-streamed artist in the world, with over 15.5 billion streams. Fans of the artist have had a busy couple of days, streaming the latest tracks from her second studio album Happier Than Ever, released last Friday. To celebrate Spotify are launching the first-ever artist hub, with three new enhanced album experiences. Other hubs on the streaming service include those like RADAR, Women’s History Month and Songwriters. You can find all of these hubs and more in the search tab of Spotify.

Happier Than Ever: The Destination

The new hub hosts a wide range of exclusive content, custom-created by the artist herself. This includes Billie Eilish’s full catalogue, her personally curated playlist of favourite tracks, surprise Easter eggs and much more. The Enhanced Album Experiences

The Destination also contains three new enhanced album experiences: “Fan Mode,” “Billie Mode” and “Lyric Mode.” Each mode features new and exclusive custom Billie Eilish content, including Canvas, Storylines and Playlist Clips. Spotify says:

  • Fan Mode features exclusive interview content with the star and a soundscape of audio from fans. From pressing questions to Easter eggs, this experience celebrates listeners who know the artist best.
  • Billie Mode is a visual feast. This is an artist who is constantly evolving, and here visitors get to see different versions of Billie in poses that reflect her creative journey and self-discovery. Billie even addresses the camera directly to share her story.
  • Lyric Mode explores the meaning and creation of the star’s favorite lyrics. The words themselves are styled to the album’s Old Hollywood glamour, while exclusive audioliners bring the meaning behind her songs to life.
