Lost-sample by SuperflyDSP

Rekkerd reports that SuperflyDSP states that Lost-sampler is designed to apply the distortion and audio degradation of the first samplers. Further, the plugin adds digital artefacts like jitter and applies subsampling and bit crushing to the input signal, and the developer states the plugin is well suited to both individual instrument channels and stem tracks.

The interface is laid out neatly with a few simple parameters for control. For one, the Stutter button allows you to repeat the input signal randomly, and you can use it to reverse the audio signal too. Meanwhile, the bit depth buttons allow you to play with the resolution of the signal while a lower bit depth adds quantisation noise. More controls allow you to add glitches, jitter and noise while stereo mode spreads the sound across the left & right channels.

Moreover, Superfly says less distortion is applied to your signal via the bit crusher when its input level is high. On the other hand, higher frequency content results in deliberate aliasing in the sub-sampling section.

Finally, the plugin has a resizable UI & the developer promises low CPU consumption and onboard presets.
