How to get a YouTube Partnership
YouTube’s Partner Programme gives creator extra resources and features, and allows you to monetize your channel to earn money from ads and YouTube Premium subscribers watching your content.
Unfortunately you won’t be getting invited the day you signup for an account. There are some minimum requirements you must hit first:
- 1000+ subscribers
- 4000+ public watch hours in the last 12 months
- Your videos must follow YouTube Community Guidelines
- You channel must have good standing with YouTube
- Live in a country where YPP is available
Head to YouTube Studio and click the ‘Monetization’ tab to see how you’re getting along. YouTube monitor all YPP channels closely, hence the strict requirements above.
How can you build up your audience? You need to be posting regular content that fans enjoy. Click here to find out what sort of content you should be posting to your social pages.
Once you hit the minimum requirement and have applied to join, head to RouteNote to join our Multi-Channel Network. RouteNote’s MCN allows you to have full control over your channel and videos.
