Meta Verified rolls out to the United Kingdom, charging £9.99 per month for a blue verified tick on Facebook and Instagram.

Initially announced and launched in Australia and New Zealand in February earlier this year, Meta Verified then expanded to the US the following month, before rolling out this week to the UK. The subscription service that gives individuals a blue verified tick badge, alongside other perks, instantly drew comparisons to Twitter Blue, which launched just a few months earlier.

Meta Verified is available to individuals over 18. Currently, the subscription service is not available to businesses and there will be no change to existing verified badge holders. Find the full eligibility requirements here. Learn more about Meta Verified here.
