Season’s Greetings from Fracture Sounds, who have given us all an early Christmas present in the form of sleigh bell samples for Kontakt.
Get working on that Christmas tune, everybody. Fracture Sounds are offering a new Sleigh Bells Library, and you can get it for free. All you need to turn a track into a Christmas song is to add a bunch of sleigh bells, so it’s very useful of Fracture Sounds to gift us six different kinds to use with sampler Kontakt.
Adding festive cheer to your tracks has never been so delightful. It includes six different types of sleigh bells, deep sampled with up to 38 round robins (allowing you to play different sampled versions of the same sound).
It also has an ‘Instant Christmas’ patch, which automatically syncs to your host tempo with a festive rhythm – just load an instrument and press play and bingo, jingle bells galore.
According to Fracture Sounds, features include:
- 6 types of sleigh bells.
- Instant Christmas patch for automatic tempo-synced rhythms.
- 3 velocity layers, and up to 38 round-robins.
- Tightness and damping control for easy sound shaping.
- Simple and user-friendly interface.
- Runs in the full Kontakt 5.5 or newer.
- Basic NKS functionality, with accessibility features (but NOT encoded for Kontakt Player)
With over 55GB of content, Kontakt by Native Instruments is the industry-standard in the music production world for sampling and instrument software.
It’s worth noting that the Sleigh Bells pack won’t work in the free Kontakt Player and needs the full version of Kontakt 5.5 or above. And pay attention to the small print, because Fracture Sounds have themselves confirmed that it doesn’t actually summon Father Christmas – a disappointment.
