To celebrate the arrival of Native Instruments on Plugin Boutique, the plugin store are giving away signal processor FREAK with any purchase until 30th September.
FREAK models a diode ring circuit. The stand-alone app and plugin features three sound-bending modulation effects – Oscillator, Radio and Sidechain, as well as a modulation Type knob, allowing you to switch between amp and ring modulation, or frequency shifting. Down the right side you’ll find three knobs for Mix (dry/wet), Harmonics for harsher tones, and Feedback that’ll add distortion and phasing to the mix. The dials on the left side vary based on the effect mode. This is the perfect plugin to easily add some retro lo-fi radio sound to your mix.
Features:
- Create detuned horror-style vocals, rich metallic timbres, rhythmic sidechain, and more
- Add a whole universe of noise and inharmonic content to harmonic signals
