The most played songs in each city across the globe will be a curated into playlists for you to listen to when the iOS 14.5 update drops.

Apple Music is getting 100 new playlists when the iOS 14.5 update is released to the public. Each one will be curated with the music that is topping the charts in a particular city and will be updated daily.

According to 9to5Mac in the iOS 14.5 beta 4 codes, users will be able to access the playlists from over 100 cities around the world with the most played songs in each one being added to the playlists. Apple describes the playlist as a way to “Explore what’s popular in over 100 cities from all over the world with charts updated daily.”

Which cities will be involved yet is unknown.

In addition to these playlists, Apple Music will also be adding the ability to share lyrics and music clips on Instagram stories or iMessage.

The release date for iOS 14.5 is unclear at this moment but there are hints that it may be released at the end of the month.
