Albums with the most first-day streams on Spotify

Since 2015, which albums on Spotify have held the title of most album streams based on their opening day globally?

After holding the record for 1,162 days, last Friday Drake’s new album Certified Lover Boy beat his last album Scorpion as the most streamed album on release day. Here are the previous record holders since 2015.

Note, these aren’t the six most first-day streamed albums on Spotify, but rather those that have held the title for the number one most first-day album streams since 2015. For example Kanye West’s Donda brought in more than 94 million streams on its first day a little over a week ago, but failed to beat Drake’s Scorpion.
