The most popular K-pop artists are dominating around the world and Spotify is one of the best places to find South Korean artists. Here are the top ten most-followed K-pop groups and solo artists as of January 2025.

The time of K-pop dominance is now. K-pop has been growing in recent years and the most popular groups such as BTS and BLACKPINK have been topping charts on their home turf and across the globe.

In 2022 Spotify said worldwide K-pop streams were averaging 7.97bn monthly plays. This was up 27% from the year before. It’s been four years since Spotify launched its service in South Korea, and its K-pop playlists are incredibly popular.

With all this in mind, we wanted to highlight the top K-pop groups and solo artists (all of whom originate from BTS) on Spotify in 2025.

BTS holds the crown for the most-followed K-pop band on Spotify, with over 77 million followers. BLACKPINK are the most-followed K-pop girlband, with over 52 million followers. V has over 19 million followers and is the most-followed K-pop solo artist.

Since we last updated this list in May last year, the top ten looks much the same, however Stray Kids have trade places with RM.
