Spotify has just reported their second quarter earnings, updating their monthly active user and subscriber numbers.

With growth across all areas, Spotify remains the go to place for music, podcasts and audiobooks, driving discovery and connection between millions of artists, creators, authors and fans.

Spotify’s latest results details statistics across April to the end of June 2025, as well as the whole first half of the year. In the first half of 2025, Spotify’s subscriber net addition grew more than 30% compared to the first half of 2024. This quarter, was the second highest Q2 for monthly active user net additions.

At the end of June this year, Spotify had almost 700 million users and over 275 million subscribers, an over 10% year-over-year increase in both areas.

  • Subscribers climbed 12% Y/Y to 276 million.
  • Monthly Active Users grew 11% Y/Y to 696 million.
  • Total Revenue increased 10% Y/Y to €4.2 billion.
  • Gross Margin improved by 227 bps YoY to 31.5%.
  • Operating Income reached €406M.
