Live Nation has acquired the concerts and entertainment division of TERO, a Thailand-based promoter and media company.
Since 1998, TERO C&E has worked in various projects involved in domestic touring, family entertainment, exhibitions, musicals, and artist management within Thailand, reports MBW.
Under the new deal, Live Nation can continue to expand within Thailand “with a commitment to local Thai talent while also continuing to bring the biggest international acts to the region.”
Live Nation acquires TERO’s C&E division
Back in 2015, Live Nation & TERO collaborated to create Live Nation Tero – a project that promotes international concerts and festivals by Western acts and brings regional talent to Thailand too.
Through this new acquisition of`TERO C&E, Live Nation says that Live Nation Tero establishes itself as a “holistic business that will cover a vast international and domestic music roster as well as family entertainment”.
Live Nation also states that the acquisition “deepens” the company’s own strategy to offer new events to brand partners across the region such as Mercedes, Toyota, Pepsi, Budweiser, and Samsung.
