Apple closed down Beats Music last week to fully replace it with Apple Music, but Beats subscribers still have one month to migrate to Apple Music.

If you’re worried that your music collection built up on Beats Music will be gone forever, fear not, as Apple are giving users until the 19th January to transfer their libraries over to Apple Music. Although it will require using Apple Music, if you haven’t used it before you can still access it for three months on a free trial.

Yesterday Beats sent an email to it’s ex-subscribers telling that all of their content, playlists, music and preferences will remain accessible through Apple Music until January 19th 2016. After that, however, all previous content from Beats subscriptions will be removed.

If you had a Beats subscription and want to retain all of your music collection Apple are providing guides on how to for iOS and Android. Unfortunately to transfer your content on either you will have to have iOS 8.4 or higher and on Android you will need Android 4.3 Jellybean or higher.
