Apple Music gets Chromecast support

4 years after launching their music streaming app for Android devices Apple Music can now be cast to Chromecast devices.

In great news for Android users and Apple Music listeners, Apple have added an update to their app. Among other additions the update adds the long-requested ability to stream Apple Music by casting it through Chromecast.

It’s as simple as it should be: Simply ensure both your Chromecast device and the smartphone are connected on the same network. A cast button will show on the Apple Music app when playing music allowing listeners to simply tap and stream through their Chromecast connected speakers or TV.

The new app update also adds lyrics that scroll in time to the music, a dark mode that makes things easier on the eyes – especially in the dark, and over 100,000 broadcast radio stations.
