Adding my music to Spotify
Musicians just starting out online may not realise how easy it is to upload singles and albums to streaming services such as Spotify.
You don’t need me to explain how important it is to get your music on streaming services such as Spotify. The most popular streaming service currently boasts over 365 million monthly active users and are growing at an extraordinary rate. RouteNote makes uploading your music to all of the top stores and streaming services around the world super easy and free. We upload to Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, TIDAL and many more. With YouTube Content ID, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and SoundCloud, RouteNote artists can monetize content across social channels too. Artists big and small find distributing through RouteNote a breeze.
All you need to do is sign up for a free RouteNote account, upload your tracks and artwork, fill in the metadata, choose the stores and territories, then click either Distribute Free or Distribution Premium. Free distribution is best for artists and labels just starting out, with zero fees for 85% of the revenue. Premium distribution is best for artists and labels with established audiences, with a small fee for 100% of the revenue. Switching tiers for any release at any time is just a click away.
Once finished, your release will be sent to our moderation team. The moderators check every release to identify formatting and copyright errors. Find our up-to-date moderation times here. Then a few days later, it’ll start showing up in stores and streaming services. As the streams and purchases start coming in, royalties will be sent to your RouteNote account. Funds can be withdrawn to a PayPal or bank account, while statistics breakdown exactly how much each release has made on each store.
Remember, when you upload your release to RouteNote, you always keep 100% of the rights. Your music remains yours to do with as you wish.
