Minimal Audio’s new Cluster Delay – 8-tap delay with precise control for sonic shaping
Minimal Audio are back in a big way – their new Cluster Delay effect is a promising addition to the world of delay effects.
Minimal Audio’s new Cluster Delay plugin is a sequenced tap-delay plugin with a sleek user interface and precise controls for shaping your delay.
Cluster Delay
KVR reports that Minimal Audio’s one Cluster Delay gives you an easy-to-use interface with controls for shaping your delays in time by ramping, spacing, and scattering up to eight processed delay taps.
Furthermore, integrated diffusion and modulation controls allow you to create some reverb-type effects and create large sonic spaces, much like Valhalla’s Supermassive!
Cluster Delay also offers built-in ducking so you can keep your mix clean, and you can further refine your delays with filters and even mid-side processing!
Meanwhile, Minimal Audio’s new delay plugin gives you a total of six routable effects like a chorus, phaser, flanger, diffusion, wobble, and a frequency shifter that you can activate.
Cluster Delay comes packed with 100 tweakable presets ranging from retro tape delays to modern soundscapes, in addition, to a Preset Randomization button. You can control the shape, timing, and stereo spread of the 8 delay taps with its Macro controls, and you can activate “Analog Mode” for analog-inspired feedback!
Moreover, Input Send Mode allows you to balance the gain of the delay taps without affecting the input signal gain.
