Announced by the Head of Instagram in a new video, a scheduled Instagram Live will now be displayed on your profile.

Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri has posted another video detailing two new features on the photo and video sharing app. These include Live in Profiles and Remix Video. Last week, Instagram announced the expansion of Remixes beyond Reels to any video.

Continuing the company’s focus on building features for teens and creators in the spaces of video and messaging, the improvements to scheduling a Live reinforces this. Instagram introduced the ability to schedule live videos last year. Previously linked to a feed post or Story, you can now create scheduled live streams separately from any post. The title, date and time of an upcoming Live is displayed as a badge on your profile to any visiters, not just followers. Tapping the badge allows fans to get reminders on the day before and day of the stream. You can now also create as many scheduled Lives as you like.
