Ed Sheeran is set to replace himself at Number 1 with ‘Shivers’

Ed Sheeren is going to be replacing himself for the number one spot in The Official Chart.

The Official Chart, which airs on BBC Radio 1 today between 6 pm-7 pm will offer a first glance at the Top 20 ahead of Friday’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. The chart is based on preliminary sales and early streaming reports. 

It’s looking likely that Ed Sheeren is set to replace himself at Number 1 following the release of ‘Shivers’, the latest single taken from his upcoming album ‘=‘. 

‘Shivers’ already has over 10,000 chart sales ahead of its predecessor ‘Bad Habits’, which has so far spent 11 consecutive weeks atop the Official Singles Chart. 

Ed Sheeren will be getting tough competition from the likes of Dua Lipa, Glass Animals, Elton John, Drake, and many more.
