CapCut and RouteNote partner to get your music in more videos
We’re thrilled to be bringing the music of artists all over the world to videos created with TikTok’s sister app CapCut.
RouteNote have partnered with CapCut. The video editing app from TikTok parent ByteDance allows users to use a range of editing tools and effects to create short videos. Creators can also add music to their video directly through the app.
That’s where we come in! Our partnership allows you to send your music to be added to the app’s music library for use in creator’s videos around the world. You get paid every time someone uses your song in CapCut and gain exposure whenever they share their videos.
CapCut is used by over 200 million people each month to create their videos. These videos then go out onto the biggest video platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels to be seen by millions more.
There is huge potential to get discovered and go viral when your music is used on short videos. Our partnership with CapCut simply offers more chances to get discovered and earn revenue from the use of your music by creators worldwide.
How to upload your music to CapCut
For existing RouteNote users, you don’t need to move a muscle to start getting heard on CapCut. We will automatically add all of your previously uploaded music so you can start earning straight away. If you would like to opt-out of this, please get in touch with us at support@routenote.com.
To add your new releases to CapCut, simply select it as a store when you’re uploading and formatting your new release as you would any other store.
For new users:
- Create a free account at www.routenote.com
- Select ‘Create a new release’ from the Distribution tab once logged in
- Upload your audio and fill in your track details
- Select CapCut in the ‘Manage Stores’ section and as many other services you’d like to distribute your music to
