Amazon have increased the price of their top-end music streaming service, Amazon Music Unlimited by one dollar for family and Prime members.

Amazon Music Unlimited is the technology giant’s premium music streaming service, providing subscribers with a large catalog of ad-free, HD, on-demand music, with unlimited skips and offline playback.

In January this year, Amazon Music Unlimited increased their price from $9.99 per month to $10.99 per month for non-Prime subscribers. Now, Amazon are introducing the same $1 price increase for Prime members too, going from $8.99 per month to $9.99 per month.

That’s not the only price increase introduced this week. Amazon Music Unlimited’s family plan is also increasing for users, from $15.99 per month to $16.99 per month. Family subscriptions provide up to six users with individual profiles. There is no separate, cheaper family plan for Prime subscribers.

Prime subscribers can also pay yearly for individual and family accounts. These prices are increasing by $10 each. An annual subscriptions to Amazon Music Unlimited is $99 per year, up from $89 per year, while family accounts are $169 per year, instead of $159.

New subscribers will see the changes right away, while existing subscribers will see these changes on their first bill on or after September 19th.
