The pursuit of new sounds is a common one among producers and musicians, and it doesn’t get much different than Motor Rhythms sample pack made entirely out of various car parts.
Sound marketplace Soundiron have a new and incredibly unique sample pack from half music-man, half auto mechanic Jordan Hill. The sample pack is created entirely out of sounds from a massive variety of cars and their parts. If you’re looking for a unique rhythm section in your next track look no further.
Hill carefully put together and assembled parts from a bunch of makes and models of differ automobiles and recorded them in crisp detail from varying lengths to get the best possible range of sounds. The samples are available as raw audio files and as instruments for Kontakt you can input into your mix with a bunch of controls to find the perfect sound.
In Soundiron’s own words:
We came to [Hill’s] workshop to record each piece in precise detail, with both close and far microphone positions. This Kontakt library features deep round-robin variation & velocity layering, modular kit mapping, intelligent step-sequencing arpeggiator, intuitive controls, endless FX routing possibilities and a huge variety of dynamic sounds to choose from.
Our flexible user interface offers a broad range of essential controls with independent layer settings or global linking. You can shape attack, release, start offset, pitch, volume and key placement for each kit piece. You can freely map each articulation or select presets for most major drum library MIDI mapping standards.
We’ve also created an expansive collection of sound-designed atmospheres, grooves, pads and synth tones created from the raw acoustic source recordings to provide perfect stylized sonic accompaniment. We also provide you with a full rack of Kontakt’s on-board multi-effects and a wide selection of our most popular convolution reverb impulses to spatialize the sound in a variety of real and sound-designed spaces.
This 6.57 GB library includes 6,894 samples and 14 nki presets with a custom user interface for the full version of Kontakt 5.5.2 and later (OSX 10.8 or later / Windows 7 or later required).
