You can now save individual podcast episodes to your Spotify library

A new feature in Spotify Podcasts allows you to save one individual episode to listen to later, without subscribing to a whole show.

Spotify are constantly tweaking their podcast platform to increase listener numbers, and it appears to be working, with a recent survey from MIDiA suggesting 42% of all podcast listening takes place on Spotify.

Simply find an episode and tap the + icon. This will save the episode to Your Library – Podcasts – Episodes alongside any new/unplayed episodes from shows you’re subscribed to.

The addition is a basic but welcome one seen on many competitors. It appears the feature is still rolling out as it is yet to appear on my app even after an update.
