The RouteNote app makes it easy to stay connected to your RouteNote account wherever you are. Available on both Android and iPhone, the app lets artists and labels view their earnings, track streaming statistics, browse their discography, create support tickets, manage their profile, and more – all from their mobile device.

The app includes a growing range of account management tools, with iPhone users also able to create and upload new releases directly from the app. Some distribution tasks may still need to be completed through the RouteNote website, depending on the feature you’re using.

How to use the RouteNote app

After opening the app and logging in/signing up, the RouteNote app will take you to the Home page. Here, you’ll see your total account earnings, the total number of releases you’ve distributed through RouteNote, and a quick overview of your account activity.

If you’ve referred friends to RouteNote through the referral programme, the Home page also displays your total referral earnings.

If you’re using an iPhone, you can also create and upload new releases directly from the RouteNote app, making it even easier to start distributing your music while you’re on the go. Some distribution features are still managed through the RouteNote website, so depending on what you’re looking to do, you may need to switch between the app and your browser.

Browse your discography in the RouteNote app

The Discography section lets you quickly browse and manage the releases linked to your RouteNote account, making it easy to keep track of your catalogue wherever you are.

From this section, you can view all of your releases, including those that are Approved, In Review, and Removed. You can also search for specific releases, filter your catalogue by release type, Free or Premium distribution, or Shared Releases, and sort your results by upload date, sales start date, artist name, or release title.

Whether you’re checking the status of a new release or looking back through your catalogue, the Discography section puts your music library at your fingertips.

How to view your earnings in the RouteNote app

The RouteNote app makes it easier than ever to view the earnings your RouteNote account has accumulated.

  1. Head to the navigation bar at the bottom of the app
  2. Click on “Earnings” (second from the left)
  3. The Earnings page displays the total earnings your account has accumulated on a month-by-month basis. Scroll through the Earnings page until you find the month you want to see your earnings for.

    The Earnings page also shows you whether these earnings have been paid. If they have been paid, a green “Paid” notice will be present next to the earnings for that month.

How to track your music statistics in the RouteNote app

The Statistics tab gives you an overview of how your music is performing, helping you keep track of your catalogue wherever you are.

To view your statistics:

  • Head to the navigation bar at the bottom of the app.
  • Tap Statistics.

At the top of the page, you’ll see your Lifetime Earnings and the number of days remaining until your next payment. Below this, you can swipe between different tabs to see real-time insights into your catalogue, including your total streams, downloads, and YouTube views. Whether you’re checking in on a recent release or monitoring your catalogue’s overall performance, the Statistics tab keeps your latest data just a tap away.

Stay up to date with push notifications

Enable push notifications to receive important updates from RouteNote directly on your mobile device. Notifications can keep you informed about account activity, moderation updates, payments, reminders, and other useful information, so you don’t have to keep checking the app for the latest news.

You can manage your notification preferences within the RouteNote app, making it easy to stay informed about the updates that matter most to you.

Manage your RouteNote account in the More tab

The final tab on the far right of the navigation bar is the “More” tab. Here, a menu pops up where you can directly access each of the pages we’ve already discussed as well as access to:

  • The “Support Ticket” page

    Create a ticket that our dedicated Support team can view.
  • The “Referral” page

    Access your referral code and share it with friends to start earning referral rewards.
  • “Your Profile” page

    Manage your personal and contact details, and view your account time zone.
