The Great Estate brings some of rock’s biggest players to a hidden corner of Cornwall for a magical garden party festival.
In the heart of Cornwall’s rolling, verdant meadows and patchy, fairy tale woodlands lies a large estate. Scorrier House is an imposing structure of refined class surrounded by huge stretches of beautiful green walled in by bustling trees. Once a year, this otherworldy scene opens up for the UK’s greatest garden celebration.
The Great Estate is a unique festival that combines a sense of Victorian wonder with the otherworldly magic of the countryside and some kick-ass music. Venture through the woods, get lost amongst the treasures to find there, and emerge amongst one of Cornwall’s biggest events.
This year, two of the greatest bands to ever rock will be headlining the weekend: The Darkness and The Stranglers. But that’s not all, as The Great Estate is bringing loads of weird and wonderful acts to the unmatched atmosphere of Scorrier House.
Except to dance the night away to bizarre acts like Bikini Beach Band and Cornwall’s own Hedluv + Passman, or swing along to Smokey’s King Shufflers and The Forty Fours. Stretch your eyes to the mystifying wonders of powerful performances like The Talulah Blue Show and The Great Drag Race. No matter where you opt to spend your time, be prepared to be not just wowed, but raucously entertained.
