SoundCloud for Artist vs. RouteNote
The only way to get paid from SoundCloud for your music, is by paying a monthly or yearly subscription. SoundCloud’s free Next subscription will not upload your music to streaming platforms or earn you any money from SoundCloud.
This is in contrast to RouteNote, who can upload your music to all major streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, even SoundCloud and many more, to help you start generating revenue across services for free.
Other paid-for-features with SoundCloud include “Split payments with collaborators”. RouteNote have long offered revenue sharing to all Free and Premium users of RouteNote, at zero extra cost.
Unlimited track uploads and advance insights are only available to SoundCloud Next Pro subscribers, for $16 per month or $144 per year. Once again, all RouteNote users get both unlimited track uploads and detailed monthly statistics, for free.
RouteNote distribute to all of the same major stores, streaming services and social media platforms as Next Plus and Next Pro, plus some additional ones like YouTube Content ID, Kuack Media, SynchedIn, as well as huge services in Asia, like Bugs!, AWA, Vibe, Flo, Zing MP3, Joox Music and Kanjian.
