Big Hit Music have launched a talent search to find a music producer as part of its 2021 Next New Creator program.
Step forward, music producers. HYBE division Big Hit Music, managers of BTS, have launched a competition and the winner gets the chance to become the label’s next in-house producer.
All you have to do is apply online, submitting between two and five of your best demos which you think can stand up against major chart music.
The prize? KRW 5,000,000 ($4,500) – and there’s also the potential for the winner to become an in-house producer at Big Hit.
Big Hit are looking for a talented producer specialising in pop music, with good knowledge of the global music market, and an understanding of trends. The demos should showcase your taste in music.
Once the submission period is up there’ll be an interview screening process by Big Hit Music producers, followed by the main competition, which Big Hit said may include a song camp.
Anyone over the age of 14 can apply, regardless of musical education, and team submissions are also allowed. Already released songs can also be submitted.
