Top 10 most-streamed albums in a single day on Spotify in 2025
Record-breaking first-day streams show a huge amount of anticipation for an album by devoted fans. Here are the top 10 as of November 2025.
In April last year, Taylor Swift overtook herself with the most-streamed album in a single day, following the release of her eleventh studio album THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. Not only did this album exceed the previous record, but with over 310 million streams, it almost doubled the first-day streams of her previous album Midnights released in October 2022.
Earlier this year, Playboi Carti’s third studio album MUSIC (also known as I AM MUSIC) joined the list after achieving over 130 million streams on its first day.
Now, we have a new entry courtesy of Taylor Swift’s twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl. The album falls just short of Taylor’s previous best, coming in as the second most streamed album in a single day. As with any other album on this list, the achievement was reached on release day.
This record gives Taylor Swift all of the top four posts, while knocking off her Taylor’s Version of Speak Now that was previously tenth best.
