But, before you get started, your channel must be accepted into the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). Joining the YPP has eligibility requirements of its own, including:

  • 1000 subscribers
  • And either:
    • 4,000 valid public watch hours on longform video in the last 12 months
    • Or 10 million valid public Shorts views in the last 90 days

Then to be eligible to be considered for our network, your channel must:

  1. Be owned and operated by you.
  2. Feature music-focused content that you own or have correctly licensed.
  3. Be in good standing with YouTube (no copyright strikes or community guideline strikes).
  4. Be eligible for monetisation under YouTube’s monetisation policies.
  5. Already be part of the YouTube Partner Program.
  6. Pass YouTube’s review process.

Please note: YouTube Topic Channels, which are auto-generated by YouTube Music, are not eligible to be added to our network.

Only once all of these steps are completed can we consider your channel to join RouteNote’s network.
