Get Martinic’s most popular plugin Kee Bass for free

The gorgeous retro bass sound of Kee Bass is just a free download away.

Kee Bass, released by Martinic, is a virtual instrument plugin developed to faithfully imitate the retro Rheem Kee Bass. The first of its kind back in the 1960s, the Rheem Kee Bass was a monophonic string bass simulator.

Despite being a hugely popular plugin, the good folks at Martinic are still offering a license for the stylish VST/AU plugin completely free.

Martinic modelled the Kee Bass without using sampling, basing the plugin on a real physical Kee Bass and the original electronic schema before adding a few cool modern features like a filter and modulation. The result is a warm vintage sound with a rich low end much loved by musicians and producers.

Kee Bass Features:
  • Bass Fuzz sound – built in
  • Percussion – Fast decay
  • Percussion – Slow decay
  • Sustain
  • Bright-Mellow option on all sounds
  • 2 Full Octave Keyboard
  • Modeled Solid State Electronic Circuitry
  • 2.5 MB Portable Lightweight Beauty
  • Plays Booming String Bass Notes when loaded into any VST/AU host
