Spotify’s “Create Cover Art” feature is available in 41 new languages and 63 additional markets, plus new summer stickers
Joining the launch in 65 markets and English language, Spotify’s cover art creation tool expands to more languages and markets.
Spotify says there are more than 8 billion playlists on the music streaming service. Launched in beta in October last year, Spotify’s playlist cover art tool lets anyone design and customize playlist covers. With images, text, graphic elements and more, “Create Cover Art” helps users make their collections of music feel more personal to them.
The feature is still available in beta only to all Free and Premium users on the iOS and Android mobile app. Initially launching to English users in 65 markets, Spotify’s playlist cover art tool is now expanding to 41 new languages and 63 additional markets. While Spotify has explicitly shared what marketing or languages this includes, the cover arts in the header show text in German, Italian, and Spanish.
Spotify has also just launched their fourth digital sticker pack collection. The new summer-themed collection has 13 stickers, such as bumblebees, butterflies, rainbows and waterdrop to help users express themselves through their summer playlists. Available to everyone where the feature is available, this collection joins the Valentine’s Day pack launched earlier this year, as well as artists packs from Tyler, The Creator and Beyoncé.
