“Issues with the Bluetooth connection and a lack of robust fitness tracking options mean even the Dash’s most basic features can cause frustration.”

Wireless earbuds aren’t a new concept but they’ve yet to be perfected. With a Kickstarter that raised over $3 million Bragi Dash hoped to be the ones to make wireless earphones work with extra features like fitness tracking and a heart rate monitor. It’s also meant to work like a personal assistant with gesture controls , but with so many ambitious features the Bragi Dash earphones end up doing them all okay but nothing exceptionally.

That’s not to say they aren’t impressive, with a computerised assistant in your ear at all times it at least follows through with the futuristic concept. But issues involving their size ($300 has never been easier to lose), connectivity and comfort stop Bragi Dash from being what it tried to be.
