Once a year, a very special thing happens atop a gentle hill overlooking the sea in Cornwall. A culmination of music at its purest and most joyous from all across the globe brings together locals and visitors from the other side of the globe alike for a weekend of good sounds, food, colour, and great vibes.

Tropical Pressure is a celebration of world music, spread across three days that each highlight a different culture. South America, Africa, and the Caribbean all shine in this hidden corner of the UK, bringing pleasure to the 3-day community of festival attendees. The Times recently dubbed Tropical Pressure the “best small UK music festival”.

For a few years, we’ve been privileged to work with Tropical Pressure to bring a bit of the magic back home and into the screens and speakers of anyone who missed it (and a chance to revisit for those who were there). RouteNote Sessions joined the wonderful crew again this year and are thrilled to bring you the thrills of Tropical Pressure 2023.

A rainy first day didn’t dampen the spirits as fun-loving music enjoyers danced their way through to a gorgeous rest of the weekend. The team had a blast being at this very special place and it is our pleasure to bring it to you now.
