Is this Apple Music’s new logo?
A new, bolder Apple Music logo has appeared in Apple’s latest software betas, but the company hasn’t officially confirmed a redesign yet.
Apple Music could be getting a new look. A redesigned logo has started appearing in Apple’s latest developer betas, giving us an early look at what could become the streaming platform’s new branding.
The new logo is immediately noticeable with the “Music” now written in lowercase, using a much thicker typeface which gives the logo a wider, chunkier appearance.
Where has the new Apple Music logo appeared?
As 9to5Mac reports, the new branding was first spotted earlier this month when it appeared alongside the launch of the Apple Music Hall in London. At the time, it wasn’t clear whether the logo was created specifically for the new venue.
That looks less likely now. Apple has since used the logo in Instagram Reels unrelated to Apple Music Hall, and the updated branding has more recently been discovered by @madeby_ldt and @aaronp613 on X in iOS 27.2 beta 3.

There’s no official confirmation yet. But, if it is to be the new Apple Music logo, it’ll be the first logo change since the service launched 11 years ago.
