Martin XM puts a fresh summer spin on First Of All, blending Afro House, Speed Garage and nostalgic Korg M1 sounds into an uplifting dancefloor-ready release. Discover the story behind Talk To You.

Spanish electronic artist Martin XM returns with his latest release, Talk To You, a vibrant summer reimagining of the original track that blends the nostalgic warmth of classic dance music with the infectious energy of Afro House and Speed Garage.

Built around the instantly recognisable sound of the Korg M1 piano, Talk To You combines uplifting trumpet melodies, warm grooves and a distinctly UK-inspired bounce to create a feel-good hybrid that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

The track was created with a clear intention: to preserve the soul and emotional character of the original while introducing a fresh production style designed for today’s dancefloors. The result is a release that moves effortlessly between laid-back beach sessions and sunset club sets, bringing together melodic emotion and rhythmic energy in equal measure.

With its combination of Afro House percussion, Speed Garage influences and uplifting instrumentation, Talk To You captures the spirit of summer while showcasing Martin XM’s ability to bring different musical worlds together. The familiar Korg M1 piano provides a nostalgic anchor, while the trumpet melodies and modern production give the track a fresh identity of its own.

The release will be supported by a dedicated digital campaign featuring short-form content across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, alongside targeted Meta advertising aimed at listeners with an interest in Afro House, Speed Garage and melodic electronic music.

Martin XM’s journey into electronic music began at an early age, driven by an obsession with sound and an endless curiosity about music. Growing up surrounded by the energy of the Ruta del Bakalao, Spain’s legendary clubbing route, he found inspiration in late-night shows and the music that travelled through the country’s underground dance scene.

His earliest experiments were simple but formative. Armed with a Casio keyboard, a radio with a tape recorder and countless nights spent creating and experimenting, Martin began developing the passion for sound that would eventually shape his career.

Over the years, he has been involved in a variety of musical projects, constantly exploring new sounds and bringing his work to stages around the world. His versatility has also seen him develop his skills as a VJ, culminating in a major career moment in 2012 when he performed at Creamfields, sharing the stage with internationally renowned acts including The Chemical Brothers, Tiësto and Steve Aoki in front of thousands of fans.

That experience became another milestone in a career defined by experimentation and creative evolution.

Today, Martin XM continues to push forward, refusing to settle into a single formula or repeat the same ideas. Each new release represents another opportunity to explore, adapt and transform his sound, with a focus on creating music that connects with audiences through energy and emotion.

With Talk To You, Martin XM once again demonstrates that approach, taking a familiar song and giving it a new life through a colourful blend of Afro House, Speed Garage and melodic dance influences.
