Kings of Leon UK Stadium Tour

Kings Of Leon have announced details of a UK stadium tour, which is due to take place next summer. The US band will play five shows, starting at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on May 30 in connection with their new number one album Come Around Sundown no doubt.

Other gigs in the short tour are scheduled for the Stadium Of Light in Sunderland on June 17 and Manchester’s County Cricket Ground on June 19. The band are also set to perform for the second year running at London’s Hyde Park on June 22.

Weird Al To Play At ATP And Include A UK Tour

Weird Al Yankovic has announced details of his first ever UK tour. The comedy singer will play three dates on top of his stage appearance at one of this years “All Tomorrow’s Parties” venues in Minehead starting in Birmingham on December the 2nd.

Yankovic will also play in Manchester on December 3rd and London 6th in support of his forthcoming greatest hits album.

‘The Essential “Weird Al” Yankovic’, a greatest hits album, is said to be released on October 18, features 38 tracks, including his 1992 hit ‘Smells Like Nirvana’ and ‘White And Nerdy’.

The singer is also scheduled to appear at All Tomorrow’s Parties in Minehead on December 5.

Marina And The Diamonds Family Jewels Tour is alive and healthy with a solid performance last night (19th May) in London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom with a second this evening to start off a run of 20 dates all over the UK. The Scottish rockers have released seven dates for fans to enjoy during the months of November and December climaxing at a soon to be sold out Wembley Arena show.

The Band will add these dates to what seems to be a nice full year for the guys. With other appearances including Reading And Leeds among others, as well as dates in Australia next month. The link above will direct you to the bands official site for tickets.

Support Snow Patrol In Manchester

vs cancerWe saw this opportunity flagged up on the net, and thought some of our lovely users might want a chance to support Snow Patrol and the Happy Mondays at the Versus Cancer gig at the Manchester Evening News Arena on Dec 12th (it’s ok, it’s a Saturday, you can make it…). You’ve got to be quick though – entries close on the 30th of November.

To be in with a chance of winning, bands need to submit a demo to us which will then be judged by a panel of top music pundits.

Lynyrd Skynyrd 2010 UK Tour

American South rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd have announced plans for their UK 2010 tour.

Be it a limited amount of dates, it will the first time the band have played in the UK since the release of their album ”Gold and Guns” earlier this year.

Tickets go on sale at the end of this week on, Friday the 13th, and are available from Ticketwise.com. Dates for the tour, all of which are in March, are below.

Wolfmother UK And Ireland Tour Dates

Wolfmother have announced that the UK will be the first place they’ll entertain in the new year.

January 13th sees the Aussies begin their 7 date mini-tour in Dublin at the Olympia where they move on to Glasgow (14th), Newcastle (15th) , Manchester (17th), Leeds (18th), Birmingham (19th)  and climax in London (21th) . Tickets go on sale from October the 23rd via the gigwise gig guide.

The tour is the first big attempt to launch the new album in the UK, Just before the band head back home to support AC/DC on the Black Ice tour. Some dates for the tour are already sold out, gigs dates and locations are all available from the bands officail site.
