Owl City Launching Side Project Sky Sailing

Adam Young is a guy from Owl City has ditched his synths for guitars in his new side project. Sky Sailing is his new project and the album An Airplane Carried Me To Bed is due out July 13.

Adam Young fans will be saddened by the fact that the Minnesota native does not appear in this followup clip to “Vanilla Twilight.” But here’s a pic of him wearing what appears to be aviator goggles and a flight oxygen mask from Sky Sailing’s MySpace to ease your pain.

Young also tweeted today that the “Long Lost Sun Remix” of “Umbrella Beach” is available for free from Owl City’s official site.
