Wyze have dropped one of the cheapest pairs of true wireless earbuds that feature both active noise cancelling and wireless charging.

American manufacturer of budget smart home devices, Wyze showcase their new Buds Pro. Wyze Buds Pro tick all of the right boxes at just $59.99.

The new buds feature active noise cancellation that is capable of reducing up to 40dB of background and wind noise. As with most other ANC true wireless earbuds, Transparency Mode can quickly be turned on to passthrough outside noise, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings. ANC and phone calls are enabled by three microphones on each bud. When on calls, feedforward and feedback mics cancel ambient noise, while the down facing voice mic at the botom of the stem, isolates and amplifies your voice.

The 10mm high-amplitude audio drivers produce “rich treble and strong bass” from the compact form factor. The three included silicon tip sizes, small, medium and large, ensure a comfortable and secure fatigue-free fit.

Battery life on the Wyze Buds Pro is fairly average, at 4.5 hours on a single charge with ANC on, 6 hours with ANC off, or a total of 18 hours with ANC on with the charging case, bumped up to 24 hours with ANC off. Quick Charge gives the buds an additional 1 hour of playback from 15 minutes in the case. The case can be wirelessly charged via Qi-enabled pads or the included USB-C cable.

Custom touch controls can play, pause and skip tracks with a tap, or tap and hold to toggle ANC and Transparency Mode. The buds automatically play/pause music when they are removed or placed in your ears. Further control is available via built-in Alexa or your phone’s native smart assistant, such as Siri, Google Assistant and Bixby. Ask the assistant to play music, check the weather, get news and much more.

Bluetooth 5.0 provides a stable connection to smartphones and laptops. The buds support Google Fast Pair for quick pairing on Android phones. IPX4 sweat and weather resistance will keep the buds safe from liquid damage. Adaptive EQ automatically adjusts the frequency levels depending on what you’re listening to. This is a feature typically seen on the top-end earbuds usually over $100 more than the Wyze Buds Pro, such as AirPods Pro.

Pre-orders are open today, with shipping starting in July. Wyze are also working on a pair of Wyze Buds that drop the ANC. Join the waitlist at the bottom of this page to sign up for details.
