The Liberty Air 2 Pro are new noise cancelling true wireless earbuds from Anker’s audio brand Soundcore unveiled at CES 2021.
The Liberty Air 2 Pro are Soundcore’s new top-end true wireless earbuds and the companies first with noise cancellation.
The 11mm drivers are coated with 10 hardened nano-layers for stiffness while preserving clarity and definition. The earbuds claim to deliver “a 45% boost to your bass, and a 30% wider frequency bandwidth than ordinary drivers.” HearID 2.0 is similar to Apple’s adaptive EQ, analysing your unique hearing profile to create a tailor-made sound for each ear.
Liberty Air 2 Pro last 7 hours on a single charge and holding three additional charges, 26 hours total with the compact charging case. USB-C can Fast Charge the case for three hours of further listening from just 15 minutes. The case also supports Qi-wireless charging.
Noise cancelling has three different modes – transport mode, outdoor mode and indoor mode. Transport mode targets and reduces low frequencies such as a plane engine or train. Outdoor mode targets a wider range of frequencies such as street noises. Indoor mode focuses more on mid-range frequencies such as voices. The buds also have two transparency modes. One lets through all noises, while the other only highlights voices.
Use the app to toggle noise cancellation mode, and customise touch controls on ear bud such as playback, noise cancellatation mode and voice assistant. If you’re unhappy with the sound profile HearID has chosen for you, switch between 22 presets or adjust the EQ for full control.
Other notable features on the Liberty Air 2 Pro include 6 noise cancelling microphones with noise reduction to ensure your voice is crystal clear during calls, IPX4 resistance to protects the buds from sweat and the weather, Bluetooth 5.0 to ensure a stable connection from your device, auto play/pause when removed or re-entered, and nine tip options from XXXS to XL provides a perfect fit for all users, giving optimum sound quality and noise cancellation.
