Spotify’s Premium Duo plan for 2 people is now in 14 more countries
Spotify are making it cheaper to listen to music on-demand and ad-free for couples and best friends with their Premium Duo plan expanding.
Earlier this year we heard that Spotify were testing Premium accounts for 2 people as a way to save money for multiple listeners outside of the Family plan constrictions. Spotify Premium Duo is made for couples and it’s now available in 14 more countries.
Spotify Premium Duo is cheaper than having two single Premium accounts and allows both user to maintain their own profile with their own listening tastes, library and preferences. It makes it cheaper and also offers unique perks to enhance your listening experience together as a pair.
Both users will be presented with a ‘Duo Mix’, an automatically updated selection of tracks combining both of your tastes so you can bond over your love of music together. Duo users can share their playlist library with each other with just a click to share their favourite tunes.
If you already have a Premium plan and want to add your partner by upgrading to Premium Duo, all you have to do is click here to visit your Account page and follow a few quick, easy steps to change your subscription. Keep in mind that the Premium Duo plan requires that both users reside at the same address.
Spotify Duo Premium is now available in Denmark, Ireland, Poland, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.
