Since 2020, Spotify’s RADAR program has put the spotlight on rising talent and helped emerging artists to accelerate their careers. Spotify has supported more than 40 up-and-coming artists through its RADAR Spain program. Designed to connect them with new audiences, these rising artists receive invaluable support, including editorial placements, exclusive content opportunities, and personalized marketing strategies.
Spotify’s commitment to artist development extends beyond the program itself, helping artists reach further heights in their careers.

The benefits of the RADAR programme
For artists, the opportunity provided by the programme is a game-changer. Within a year of joining RADAR Spain, artists typically experience a 70% increase in average global streams and see their listener base grow by over 90%. RADAR Spain artists have been featured in Spotify playlists more than 10,700 times, introducing them to nearly 300,000 new listeners through the RADAR Spain playlist. The program is already proving its success, with early RADAR Spain artists now dominating the charts.
Introducing the RADAR Spain Class of 2025
Spotify unveiled this year’s class at a special event at Madrid’s iconic Teatro Eslava, where five promising artists took the stage in RADAR Spain’s first-ever local concert. Here are the five rising stars set to define the future of Spanish music:
Julieta
Nicknamed “the Catalan dream”, Julieta blends electronic, pop, and urban sounds with relatable lyrics- making her one of the most exciting voices in modern Spanish pop.
Barry B
Barry B fuses modern sounds with traditional influences, drawing upon his decade of experiences in local bands, songwriting and collaborations. Now, the artist from Aranda de Deuro is ready to step into the spotlight himself.
Vera GRV
From Almería, Vera GRV is capturing attention in the Spanish urban music scene thanks to her slick style and lyricism.
céro
Seville-based céro serves Gen Z’s musical tastes by blending acoustic pop, reggaeton, and bachata into his own signature sound.
LUSILLON
Winner of the Mad Cool Talent contest in 2023, Madrid-based LUSILLON is on the verge of a major breakthrough thanks to her infectious hooks and heartfelt lyrics.
