Spotify will be raising the price of Premium Family and Student subscriptions from 30 April.

Spotify have announced family and student Spotify Premium price rises in the UK. Beginning 30 April 2021, the price of the Premium Family plan will change from £14.99 a month to £16.99. Similarly, Premium Student will increase from £4.99 a month to £5.99.

The platform says it’s charging more to “continue to bring new content and features that you can enjoy as a family and as individuals.”

Current Spotify Premium Family or Premium Student subscribers will get an extra month at the current cost, so will be charged the new Spotify Premium price of £16.99 from their June billing date.
