Spotify’s collaborative playing queue feature “Jam” is used to soundtrack millions of road trips and parties every day.

Spotify has just announced that Jam is used to stream 100 million monthly listening hours. Launched globally on mobile two years ago, before expanding to desktop and Android Auto, Jam lets multiple users collaborate on the playing queue from multiple devices.

Spotify says that the feature is most popular in the U.S., Germany, Mexico, Brazil, and Canada, while cars are the top device, followed by speakers, phones and TVs.

Spotify Jam is available to all users, but only Premium subscribers can start a Jam. To start a Jam, tap the devices icon in the bottom left corner of the Now Playing screen, then Start a Jam.
