Anker’s headphone brand Soundcore tease their next pair of affordable true wireless noise cancelling earbuds.

Soundcore make some of the best budget earbuds and headphones that don’t skimp on features. Soundcore have teased some of the new features coming to the Life P3. Following on from the $39.99 Life P2 earbuds, the next generation brings active noise cancelling for $79.99.

The 11mm composite drivers will reportedly deliver “rich sound” that is enhanced in real-time by Soundcore’s BassUp technology for “big thumping beats.” Each earbud features three microphones with noise reduction to cancel out background sounds for clear calls. A secure fit is ensured thanks to five silicone ear tips that range from XS to XL.

The Life P3 features multi-mode active noise cancelling. ANC uses anti-noise to help block out all ambient sounds, so you can focus on the music. Beyond regular noise cancelling, there are several modes to choose from based on your use case. These include Transport mode to block out low frequencies such as aeroplanes, trains and buses, Outdoor mode to block out street noise, Indoor mode to block out voices for offices and cafes, and Transparency mode to enhance all ambient sounds for exercising.

The Soundcore Life P3 connect to your phone via Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable connection. Use the Soundcore app to customise the EQ and find your earbuds, which emits a high-pitched noise to help locate lost buds. Touch controls can be customised to adjust playback, volume and activate the voice assistant. Siri compatibility will be available at launch, with more assistants coming in the future. The earbuds feature a dedicated gaming mode to enhance certain in-game sounds, as well as a sleeping mode that plays white noise. IPX5 will protect the earbuds from rain and sweat.

Soundcore reports an impressive 6 hours of playback on a single charge with ANC turned on and 30 hours with the charging case. These numbers are 7 hours and 35 hours with ANC turned off. 10 minutes in the charging case will give you 2 hours of listening. The charging case supports USB-C and wireless charging.

Soundcore’s Life P3 earbuds will be available in Sky Blue, Coral Red, Oat White, Classic Black and Navy Blue from early July for $79.99. Soundcore are offering a 25% off early bird coupon for just $1 when reserved before July 5th. This brings the cost down to just $60 for early bird buyers.
