With LDAC technology and Hi-Res Audio certified, Soundcore’s Life Q35 ANC headphones rival the best at over half their price.

We’ve previously listed Soundcore Life Q20 as the best pair of headphones under $50 and the Q30s as one of the best pairs under $100. The Life Q35 from Anker’s audio brand, are Soundcore’s latest and most expensive over-ear headphones, but still only come in at $129.99 placing them inline with the likes of Skullcandy’s Hesh ANC headphones at $128.99. Despite their low price tag, they pack a feature set to rival the best of the best in over-ear headphones, such as the $200-$400 high-end ANC pairs here.

Audio is accurately produced by 40mm custom silk-diaphragm drivers, giving Soundcore’s Life Q35 Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications, making the headphones sound great in wireless via Bluetooth 5 or wired mode via an AUX lead. The new headphones transfer 3 times more data than standard Bluetooth codecs thanks to LDAC technology. Where many Bluetooth headphones will top out at 328kbps with SBC, LDAC can transmit lossless audio, up to 990kbps. Multipoint allows you to connect to two device simultaneously for quick switching between a laptop and mobile, for example.

A single tap can enable Transparency mode, allowing you to natually chat to someone or give you an awareness of your surroundings.

The headphones also feature NFC for instant connect to an Android device, with just a tap of your mobile on the left earcup. A built-in proximity sensor can detect when the headphones are removed to automatically pause music. Soundcore hope to improve calls using artificial intelligence and beamforming microphones, to ensure your voice is clear and free from unwanted noise.
